CPR brings music to Golden State Museum
With Sacramento's summer concert season
in full swing, why not mix free music with a little art and
history?
Capital Public Radio will present two free summer concerts
at 6 p.m. at the Golden State Museum located at 1020 O Street
in downtown Sacramento.
On June 26, the Habanero Quartet will present its blend of
Afro-Cuban, Brazilian and American jazz. The group, founded
in 1996, will perform rhythmic classics from North and South
America.
On July 10, the Golden State Brass group will showcase a variety
of musical styles including renaissance, baroque, classical,
modern and jazz tunes.
The concerts are free with regular museum admission prices:
$5 for adults and $3.50 for children. For more information
