“Ambassadors” represent humor in cultural comedy showcase

Sacramento State will bring a world of wit to the campus in the upcoming “Ambassadors of Comedy” live stand-up comedic show at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11 in the University Union Ballroom. Admission to the all-ages appropriate show is free.

Comedians hailing from various countries around the world such as Korea, Mexico and England will deliver comedic routines about life in the United States from a non-native’s perspective. Featured comedians include Gerry Bedknob (Mr. Bangladesh), whose credits include TV shows “Seinfeld” and “Mad About You,” and Jeff Hodge (Mr. Jamaica), who was featured in movies “Crocodile Dundee in LA” and “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.”

The show will also feature various genres of music and dancing, including jazz, reggae, hip hop, salsa, modern dance and belly dancing.
