Free melodies, dance and all that jazz at CSUS
Beat the heat this summer at California
State University, Sacramento with free, indoor afternoon concerts
featuring local music talents. All of the concerts take place
in the University Union Lobby.
From 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., July 2,
16, 30 and Aug. 14 an experimental jazz group led by Matt
McFarland will perform. On July 11, 23 and Aug. 15 Danny Kummer
and Friends will display their jazz vocals.
Other concerts include Sean O'Connor
playing classic guitar from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July
9; the Aztec dance group Quetzalcoatl-Citlalli at noon on
Wednesday, July 10; and All Family Boys, an a cappella pop
group, at noon, Wednesday, July 17.
