Sacramento State hosts ceremony for 2,000 new citizens

Approximately 2,000 Northern and Central California residents will take the Oath of Allegiance and become United States citizens during a 10 a.m. ceremony Wednesday, July 6 at Sacramento State’s Hornet Stadium.

Congresswoman Doris Matsui and Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante will be attending, and U.S. District Court Judge David F. Levi will preside over the ceremony presented by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
