Sacramento State of the art show

The Sacramento State Art Alumni Chapter will be putting on its 4th Chapter Annual Membership Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 26 to 28 and Aug. 2 to 4, 9 to 11, and 16 to 18 at the Robert Else Gallery in Kadema Hall.

An opening reception for the show will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 6. Gift certificates, donated by several local art stores, will be awarded. Sacramento State emeritus professor and painter Irving Marcus will give a slide show lecture of some on some of his latest works from 6 to 7 p.m. in Kadema Hall 145.

The show will feature creations by art alumni and current chapter members and will be judged by Marcus.

Free parking will be available for show attendees from 5 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 6 in parking lot 1.
