CSUS alumni to hold art show

The Art Chapter of the California State University, Sacramento Alumni Association will hold its second Chapter Annual Membership Show Aug. 5-20 in the Else Gallery in Kadema Hall.

The juried show will feature a variety of art submitted by members of the alumni association’s art chapter, and will include pieces by noted local artists. Works displayed will include paintings in various mediums and black and white photography.

The exhibit will be on display from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 5, 11, 14 and 20, as well as from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8 during the “Run for the Arts” to be held on campus. An artists’ reception will be held on Second Saturday, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9. The Best of Show award will be announced during the reception.
