Sled dog slide show comes to CSUS

Four-time Iditarod sled dog race winner Martin Buser and Iditarod veterinarian Al Townshend will present a slide show and talk on their racing experiences in Alaska from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, in the Stephen Lee Yamshon Alumni Center on the California State University, Sacramento campus.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by mailing checks payable to Sierra Nevada Dog Drivers (SNDD) kto Charlene G. LaBelle, 13922 Quito Road, Saratoga, CA 95070. Tickets may also be purchased on the web at Prices are $15 for adults, and $10 for children 8 to 18, seniors 65 and older, and SNDD members. Children under age seven are free.

For an additional $5 per person, the first 50 orders will be entitled to attend a private reception with the speakers following the presentation.
