"Loveline" and it's star Dr. Drew hit
CSUS
Discuss
romance with an edge at a campus version of "Loveline"
- a nationally syndicated radio and television program - at
7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27 in the California State University,
Sacramento University Union Ballroom. The evening of entertainment
will include lively discussions on topics ranging from relationships
to health issues.
The show's featured speaker, Dr. Drew Pinsky, is sought-after
source for information and advice for millions of young adults.
He has co-hosted "Loveline" for more than 18 years.
The show evolved from a volunteer radio show Pinsky participated
in while still a medical student at the University of Southern
California. It was broadcast live on MTV for five years and
is currently broadcast on more than 50 radio stations across
the country.
Pinsky is a certified internist and addictionologist. He is
the director of the department of chemical dependency service
and the chief of service in the department of medicine at
Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena.
Pinsky is also a regular contributor to USA Weekend
and has been profiled in Time, Newsweek and other national
publications.
