Comedy competition showcases rising talent
The semi-final round of the San Francisco International Stand-up Comedy Competition—a
contest that has launched the careers of many notable comedians—comes
to Sacramento State on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the University Union

among others. This year’s semi-final round will include 10 comedians doing
10-12 minutes sets. Five comedians will move on to compete in the final round
of the contest for a $10,000 first prize.
Admission to the event is $10 general/$7 students. Tickets are available at
