University
offers a jump on Fall 2003 admission
Prospective
California State University, Sacramento students can get ahead of
the college admission game by making appointments in advance for
Priority Admission Days on Saturday, Oct. 26 or Saturday, Nov. 9.
During the two available days, high school seniors can find out
instantly if they qualify for Fall 2003 admission to the University.
Students
should bring the following items to their appointments:
- Completed
CSU application (available in high school counseling offices)
- Copy
of high school transcripts
-
SAT or ACT test scores, if available
- Check
or money order for $55, or a completed fee waiver form (also available
in high school counseling offices)
To
make an appointment for Oct. 26, call (916) 278-7875, from 1 to
5 p.m. beginning Oct. 18, and 1 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 21- 24.
To make an appointment for Nov. 9, call (916) 278-7875, from 1 to
5 p.m. beginning Nov. 1, and 1 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 4- 7.
CSUS is the sixth largest of the 23-campus California State University
system, enrolling nearly 28,000 diverse students while maintaining
a student-to-faculty ratio of 21 to 1. The University offers 60
undergraduate programs and 40 graduate programs. Full-time undergraduate
fees are among the nation's lowest. They are $1,890 for the 2002
school year.
