Exhibit
focuses on sustainable energy
Sustainable
energy is the focus of an informational exhibit on the second floor
mezzanine of the California State University, Sacramento Library
through Oct. 10.
Featuring photovoltaic panels, a solar cooker and ongoing videos
on solar power and energy conservation, the exhibit is designed
to educate the campus and local community about renewable and alternative
energy sources. It also provides information about energy conservation
and efficiency.
The University Library is open from 7:15 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday-Thursday,
7:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and
11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
The exhibit is a joint effort of University librarians Maria Kochis,
Deborah Metzger, Eileen Heaser and environmental studies student
Carmen Pereira, with contributions from Robert Metcalf, professor
of biology.
