Insurance
commissioner speaks on the opportunities, challenges of multiculturalism
California
State Insurance Commissioner Harry Low will be the keynote speaker
at California State University, Sacramento, on "Opportunity
and Challenges in an Increasingly Multicultural Environment"
at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the University Union Ballroom.
Low will be joined by a panel of insurance representatives from
Chubb Insurance Co., State Farm Insurance Co. and USAA Insurance
Co. The panel will be moderated by College of Business Administration
Dean Felicenne Ramey and include a question-and-answer session.
It will be preceded by a reception for attendees and participants.
The panel is part of the University's ongoing effort to promote
a better understanding of cultural diversity on campus and in the
local community.
Admission to the public event is free and free parking is available
by stopping at the information booths near the campus entrances
and requesting a permit for the "CBA Year of Unity-2"
event.
