Services at California State University, Sacramento is once again
accepting community clients for its counseling and diagnostic testing
Advanced graduate students staff the center and provide assistance
with interpersonal issues, career problems and challenges related
to disabilities. They also administer testing for learning disabilities
and for the Gifted and Talented program, for which full reports
are provided. The students work under the immediate supervision
of experienced faculty members.
Fees are $65 per semester for counseling, $100 for learning diagnostics
and $65 for Gifted and Talented testing. As many as 14 counseling
sessions are offered for the small, once-per-semester fee. Remaining
sessions can be rolled over to the next semester.
"The students are here to serve the community by offering quality
diagnostic and counseling services at affordable costs while receiving
professional experience in their field," says Deborah Eisenhower,
