University to host farmworker symposium

California State University, Sacramento's College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is hosting the 7th annual Sowing Seeds for Change Symposium for farmworkers, students, educators and activists from noon, Friday, Nov. 8 until noon, Sunday, Nov. 10. at various locations on campus.

Participants will discuss student organizing, farmworker history in California, legislation, and environmental and health issues.

Registration fees range from $15-$50. There are limited scholarships available for farmworkers. The deadline to register without a $10 late fee is Tuesday, Oct. 15.
