Choirs sing in the season with
‘Procession of Carols’
One of the regions
most anticipated holiday musical traditions returns this year when the CSUS
Choirs perform the 18th annual “Procession of Carols” concert at
8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, at Sacred Heart Church, 39th and J Streets. A second
performance is set for 7 p.m, Sunday, Dec. 7.
Choir conductor Donald Kendrick will lead the vocal performance of new and familiar
carols accompanied by brass and organ music. Candlelit processions will highlight
the evening, filling the church with a warm glow of harmony and holiday cheer.
The show has grown to become a holiday event so popular that it has sold out
for several years running. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended.
Tickets are $10 general, $5 for students and seniors, and available from the
CSUS Ticket Office at (916) 278-4323 or at Tickets.com.
For more information, call (916) 278-6514. Media assistance is available through
CSUS public affairs at (916) 278-6156.
