Filmmaker
shares recent video footage from inside Iraq
Internationally known documentary filmmaker Saul Landau will share
recent footage from inside Iraq from noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec.
5 at California State University, Sacramento's University Union
Redwood Room.
In addition to sharing the video footage, which he took during a
recent visit to Iraq by a U.S. congressional delegation, Landau
will give a lecture titled "War Against Iraq." There will
be time for questions following the talk.
Landau is the first Hugh O. La Bounty Chair for Interdisciplinary
and Applied Knowledge at California State Polytechnic University,
Pomona.
He has produced more than 40 films on social, political and historical
and human rights issues. His many awards include an Emmy for "Paul
Jacobs and the Nuclear Gang."
