Filmmaker shares recent video footage from inside Iraq

Internationally known documentary filmmaker Saul Landau will share recent footage from inside Iraq from noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5 at California State University, Sacramento's University Union Redwood Room.

In addition to sharing the video footage, which he took during a recent visit to Iraq by a U.S. congressional delegation, Landau will give a lecture titled "War Against Iraq." There will be time for questions following the talk.

Landau is the first Hugh O. La Bounty Chair for Interdisciplinary and Applied Knowledge at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

He has produced more than 40 films on social, political and historical and human rights issues. His many awards include an Emmy for "Paul Jacobs and the Nuclear Gang."
