Carols proceed via candlelight and CSUS choirs

Join California State University, Sacramento music professor Donald Kendrick and the CSUS choirs for their popular and traditional holiday concert, "Procession of Carols," at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 and 7 p.m., Sunday Dec. 9. The concerts take place at Sacred Heart Church located on the corner of 39th and J streets.

The annual event is celebrating its16th year of presenting sold-out holiday concerts to Sacramento audiences. The concerts included candlelit processions, brass and organ music along with new and familiar holiday carols appropriate for an audience of all ages.

Tickets for "Procession of Carols" are $10 general and $5 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at the CSUS Ticket Office at (916) 278-4323 or at Tickets.com at (916) 766-2277. Additional media assistance is available by contacting CSUS public affairs at (916) 278-6156.
