Transmit Your Leadership Skills Via a Live
Broadcast with Ann Richards
Former Texas Gov. Ann Richards will define successful leadership skills and share career-defining moments during a live satellite broadcast and panel discussion from 8 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15 at California State University, Sacramento in the University Union Ballroom.
Richards helped create thousands of jobs, rewrote the penal code, and introduced educational policies that raised regional SAT scores throughout her 1990 -1994 tenure in Texas. She currently serves on many corporate boards and works as a senior advisor with the law firm of Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson and Hand.
During the broadcast, Richards will describe qualities that define successful leadership and discuss balancing personal and professional. She will also encourage people to take responsibility for their physical and mental health while striving to meet ambitious goals.
Following Richards' speech, Lindle Hatton, a CSUS professor of management, will moderate a panel of Sacramento area executives to discuss Richards' talk.
