Immigration Policies To Be
Discussed at CSUS

California State University, Sacramento will host a series of discussions on various immigration issues from 9 p.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14, in the University Union Hinde Auditorium.

Guests will speak on a variety of issues over the two-day period. Among them will be Bill Fletcher of the AFL-CIO, who works as the assistant to the Federation's president, John Sweeney. Delores Huerta of the United Farm Workers and labor journalist David Bacon will also speak. Fletcher, Huerta and Bacon's panel will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14.

Topics of discussion will include globalization, immigrant workers unions, service providers and amnesty and employer sanctions.
