Forum Lets Seniors Take on
Campaign Issues Affecting Them
Social Security and Medicare emerged as hot issues during recent presidential debates. Now seniors and other concerned parties will get their chance to ask the tough questions at a public policy forum at California State University, Sacramento.
The CSUS Gerontology Center will bring together representatives from the Bush, Gore and Nader campaigns to answer questions from consumer advocates and the audience from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28 in the Music Recital Hall in Capistrano Hall.
From 9 to 10:45 a.m., the topic will be "Social Security - Proposals for Change." And from 11:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. the focus will be on "Medicare - Proposals for Change."
More information is available by calling Manny Gale at (916) 278-7060.
