Selection and advisory committees
At his annual fall address to the campus community in August,
CSUS President Donald R. Gerth announced that he would step
down from his position at the end of the academic year.
The CSU Board of Trustees is carrying out a nationwide recruitment
for his successor, with a decision expected in March.
President Gerth took the helm at CSUS in 1984 and is the longest
serving president in CSUS history. He will have 45 years of
total service in the CSU system, including eight years as
president of CSU Dominguez Hills.
