MARGARET ANNE CLEEK,
Ph.D.
Professor of Human Resources Management
Margaret Anne Cleek received her Bachelor Degree from
the University of San Francisco and her Master and Doctorate from
Wayne State University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
She has a broad range of training and consulting experiences, having
developed several train-the-trainer programs in the areas of stress
management, time management, supervisory skills and team building.
She also has developed a 16 hour training program for a General
Motors plant which was designed to prepare the workforce for changing
social technology.
Dr. Cleek also has designed and delivered Assessment Centers for
the purposes of assessing for promotion or hire as well as for the
specific purpose of identifying developmental needs. She has served
as an assessor for Developmental Dimensions International and Partners
for Change. In this capacity she has served as an assessor for many
private and public sector companies. As a contract consultant she
has conducted needs analysis and job analysis.
Currently she is a Professor of Human Resources Management in the
College of Business Administration at CSUS, and teaches courses
in human resources management and organizational behavior. She most
enjoys skill building and mastery courses and incorporates exercises
designed for her assessment centers into the curriculum.
She also has an interest in health care and issues relating to
organizational ethics. She is active in the community and has provided
her expertise to the community as a speaker and consultant.
