Please read the announcement below regarding an upcoming OGE employment workshop. Pre-registration is required.
F-1 International Student Employment Options in the U.S.
The Office of Global Education will present an informational workshop focusing on a variety of issues related to international student (F-1) employment and training in the US. This workshop will give international students an introduction to:
| 1. | Employment Options: On Campus, Curricular Practical Training (internships /co-ops / field work assignments) and Optional Practical Training. |
| 2. | The American workplace (with emphasis on possible cultural differences in work environments between the U.S. and other countries) |
| 3. | University and other resources available to assist in the employment search process |
| 4. | Tips for a successful job search (where and how to search, verbal/non-verbal communication during the search, preparing for the interview) |
DATES: Please choose only 1 date to attend.
