INTERNATIONAL STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FROM:
UNDERGRADUATES
Freshmen applicants:
Students who are applying to
a bachelor degree program that have not completed post-secondary
course work at a college or university must request that all
secondary academic records from every institution attended
are mailed directly from the institution/examination council
to the International Admissions office. Although SAT/SAT I
or American Collegiate Test (ACT) is not required, we encourage
freshman to submit results of these tests, if available. The
TOEFL test is required and the official score must be sent
to the International Admissions office directly from ETS. The
institution code for our university for reporting of TOEFL
scores is 4671.
Lower Division Transfers:
Students with
fewer than 2 years of college/university coursework. Official/certified
secondary school transcripts with evidence of graduation date
are required and submission of all official records from each
college or university attended showing all courses completed
and work in progress.
Upper Division Transfers:
Students with
2 or more years of college/university coursework. Official
records are required from all colleges and universities you
have attended since secondary school graduation, showing
all courses completed and/or in progress, and evidence of
any degrees received. Transfer eligibility is based upon
completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units and a
2.40 minimum G.P.A.
Course Descriptions/Syllabi (undergraduate only) In order to process transfer credit please submit course descriptions/syllabi in English. These syllabi should be official school documents and include detailed information on the breadth and depth of the subject matter, the hours per week of classroom and laboratory instruction, names of textbooks used and other pertinent information.
GRADUATE STUDENTS & SECOND BACCLAUREATE
Official records are required from all post-secondary schools
attended, showing all courses completed and/or in progress,
and evidence of degree completion. Many graduate departments
require an additional application form, as well as other requirements
(e.g. letters of recommendation, portfolio, tests, essays,
et cetera) Please contact your graduate department immediately
for this information.
PLEASE NOTE: All Students must submit academic records from each educational
institution you attended whether or not you desire transfer credit. Concealing
attendance at an educational institution is considered a serious offense by
the University and can nullify your admission and enrollment.
