Guidelines for Applicants from Egypt

TOEFL Requirement: Yes

FRESHMAN APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT
Prior to 1995 Shehadet Thanawiya Amma (General Secondary Education Certificate) 1995 and thereafter Al Azhar Secondary Certificate. The certificate must be submitted of the final 4 years of secondary school listing the courses taken and marks earned and final examination results and certificate awarded. The minimum grade average required is 3.0 gpa (80% average)

UNDERGRADUATES
LOWER DIVISION TRANSFER STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUMBIT
Students at the lower division level must be eligible as listed above and possess a 2.4 (74%) grade point average (on a 4.0 grading scale) or better on college work completed. Students must submit documents required of freshman admit, plus a official copies of college or university records of all courses completed for each year of attendance.

UPPER DIVISION TRANSFER STUDENTS ARE REQURIED TO SUBMIT
Students at the upper division level must possess a 2.4 (74%) grade point average on at least 60 transferable units. Credit should be awarded for comparable courses. Students must also submit documents required of freshman admit, plus official copies of college or university records of all courses completed for each year of attendance from all institutions attended whether transfer credit is awarded.

GRADUATE APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT
Students must have the equivalent of a 2.5 (74%) grade point average or better, on overall and last two years of their degree. Students must have at least a minimum four year bachelor’s degree to be eligible for admission. Student must request official record of courses and grades earned for each year attendance with the official degree/diploma from all institutions attended. The transcripts and degree/diploma certificates must be signed by the University Registrar
