Guidelines for Applicants from Japan
TOEFL: Required
Freshman Applicants are required to submit
High
school transcripts that include subjects for final 3 years
with, grades earned and date of graduation.
High school must
be completed with at least a B grade average (grades of 4 =
B) to meet eligibility for freshman admission.
Records must
be original documents signed by school official (Registrar,
Principal or Headmaster)
UNDERGRADUATE APPLICANTS
Lower
Division Transfer Students are required to submit
Lower
division transfer students are those students who have
completed less than two years of college/university coursework.
Students must submit documents required of freshman admit
plus submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities
attended listing courses by semester and year taken (example
Spring 2005) and have at least a 2.4 grade point average
(70%)
Upper Division Transfer Students are required to submit
Upper division transfer students are those students who have completed at least two years of college/university coursework. These students must complete at least 60 transferable units and have a minimum of a 2.4 grade point average (C+) Students must submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended listing courses by semester and year taken whether or not credit is awarded.
GRADUATES
Students must complete a minimum
four year bachelor's degree from an accredited university
to be eligible for possible admission and have a minimum
of a 2.5 grade point average on both overall and last two
years of university coursework. Individual departments will
make final admission review for their programs.
DOCUMENTS
Transfer students
must submit official transcripts listing courses by semester
and year taken (example Spring 2005), directly from
the university, in university sealed envelopes. All documents
must bear registrar's signature, title and seal. Graduate students
