How to Apply
International
Students are those who currently hold or will require
F-1 Visas-applying while in the USA or overseas to undergraduate
and graduate programs.

It is recommended that you pay the non-refundable $55.00 application fee by credit card. Failure to pay the application fee will delay processing of application. The application fee is non-refundable and cannot be deferred or waived.

The U.S. government requires that the name on your application and passport to be identical. Be sure that all of your academic records and other documents have this name on them. If names differ, please provide evidence of name change, such as a marriage certificate.
There is a paper application available; however we strongly recommend that you submit the application online to expedite processing. If you choose to apply using the paper application, you must submit the $55.00 (US currency) application fee payable to California State University, Sacramento with the application. Bank drafts / checks must be drawn from a US bank and include electronically readable micro-encoding. Click here to print the paper application.

Print, Complete and Send the International Admissions Supplemental Documents: (Educational History sheet, Financial Affidavit and Part B). You will be prompted to print these documents after you complete the online application. Should you have trouble accessing the documents from the application you can print them from here: supplemental documents. Failure to submit supplemental documents will result in the delay of processing your application. An instruction sheet is included with the forms.

Graduate Applicants: check the Graduate department website to determine if there are additional department requirements; for example: GRE or GMAT test scores, supplemental documents or applications.

Check your email (the email address you listed on the application): International Admissions will notify you by email approximately 1 week after you submit the application with a complete list of additional documents required to process your application. It is your responsibility to review this email and send all required documents by the deadline.
