    Faculty members going abroad to teach should acquire the following items while in the host country for their files:

    A letter from the supervisor.

  • Evaluations from students. (Take a copy with you of the Sacramento State student evaluation form used in    your department and use it while teaching abroad, if appropriate.)
  • Syllabi or materials developed.
  • List of public lectures/open lectures with text or summary statement.
  • A clear description of teaching duties.
  • Information on the student population of the host institution.
  • A copy of the description of any research undertaken or articles written.
  • A description of the host university and a list of courses offered by the department here within which you    taught.
  • A list of the other faculty members in the department in which you taught at the host university.
