Who is an International Student? An International student is a student who plans to study at Sacramento State on a nonimmigrant visa.

Pay the non-refundable $55.00 application fee by credit card. Failure to pay the application fee will delay processing of application. The application fee is non-refundable and cannot be deferred or waived. All applicants MUST declare a major.
The U.S. government requires the name on your application and passport to be identical. Be sure all academic records and other documents reflect the name on your passport. If names differ, please provide evidence of name change. Example: marriage certificate.
Complete and submit the supplemental documents located at the end of the online application and mail to International Admissions, California State University Sacramento 6000 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95819-6012 or you can print them here: supplemental documents and mail. Failure to submit the supplemental documents will delay processing of the application.
Additional information for Graduate Applicants: The Graduate Admission application to California State University, Sacramento is a Two-Part Process. You must complete and submit BOTH parts of your application to be considered for admission. The international application, in addition to the departmental requirements must be completed. Contact the major department for more information.
Approximately one week after submission of the international online application you will receive an email to the address listed on the application confirming receipt of the application and fee. The email will also list the required documents and deadline. It is your responsibility to read the email and send all the documents by the deadline.

Undergraduate application filing period: October 1, 2013-March 1, 2014
Required documents deadline date: May 1, 2014 except impacted major document deadline is March 1, 2014
Undergraduate majors not accepting applications from nonimmigrant (F-1) applicants: Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Nursing.
