Housing and Residential Life

Dear International Student:

We're glad you are considering attending California State University, Sacramento, and we would like to take this opportunity to tell you about some of the advantages associated with living on-campus in the residence halls.

Our objective goes beyond providing you with comfortable accommodations and helpful service. Our goal is to provide an environment, which supports academic achievement and personal growth for all resident students. A variety of facilities, programs, and activities are provided in order to make the residence hall experience enjoyable and meaningful. We offer you an opportunity to meet people, make friends, and participate in a variety of cultural, social, recreational, and educational activities. The contact you have with other students from different backgrounds, cultures, ethnic and national origins will serve to broaden your perspective on the world around you. Living on campus offers distinct advantages in the development of academic goals and successes, as well as in the areas of personal and social development.

Space availability in the residence halls during the fall semester is always limited so apply as earlier as possible. If you wish to apply to live on or off campus please visit our website at We hope to see you at the International Orientation Program.
