Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (IPEDS)

The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) was established to help the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) meet its mandate to report full and complete statistics on the state of post-secondary education. The IPEDS system is built upon a series of interrelated surveys used to collect data in such areas as enrollment, program completions, faculty and staff, and finances. IPEDS reporting is required of all institutions each year.

Data Feedback Reports

Produced by the National Center for Education Statistics, these reports compare data we provided through the IPEDS surveys to data from peer institutions. These reports consider various indicators, including student race/ethnicity, charges and financial aid, graduation rates and degree completions, expenses and revenue, and faculty and staff resources.
