ORAL HISTORY EXPERIENCE Conducted interviews of 27 persons about the history of the California Public Employees Retirement System, May, 2000-December 2000. Conducted a 9-hour interview with California State Senator Gary K. Hart for the California State Government Oral History Program, September-December, 2000. Conducted a workshop on oral history interviewing techniques and project planning to the Gold Discovery Park oral history project volunteer group, August, 2000. Contracted with the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) to conduct oral history interviews of current and former employees, May, 2000-Present. Presented a lecture/workshop on oral history interviewing techniques to the Capital City Golf Historians of Sacramento, July, 1998. Contracted with the Dixon Public Library to conduct 35 oral history interviews on both video and audio tape, May, 1998-present. Presented a lecture to The Affiliates (of CSUS) titled, "Oral History and It's Uses," January, 1998. Contracted with the Army Corps of Engineers to direct and conduct a video and oral history project for Beale Air Force Base, July-December, 1997. Presented an oral history workshop for the Association for California Records and Research (ANCRR) at CSU, Chico, April, 1997 Presented an oral history workshop for the "Cosumnes Archaeology Working Group," February, 1997. Presentation and workshop on oral history interviewing techniques at the California State Railroad Museum, Sept. 1996. Conducted an oral history workshop for junior and senior High School teachers of the San Juan Unified School District, July, 1996. Director, Oral History of the Houston Economy. Conducted interviews for a business biography of Herman and George R. Brown. |
