How do I get training to be a Behavior Analyst?

As an undergraduate or graduate student at CSUS in any discipline, you may complete the Behavior Analysis Certificate Program along with your major course work. If you already have a bachelor's degree in psychology, you may enroll at CSUS as an unclassified graduate student and take the behavior analysis program courses.

CSUSfaculty specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis teach several courses designed to prepare their students for rewarding careers. There are opportunities to conduct internships, fieldwork and research in behavior analysis at CSUS. Placements have included: Alta California Regional Center, Applied Behavior Consultants, FamiliesFirst, Inc., Head Trauma Support Project, Stanford Home For Children, and United Cerebral Palsy. Several local agencies have established behavioral services programs where qualified Behavior Analysts and assistants may obtain employment.
