This is a gathering of Northern California’s most prominent accounting professionals and the accounting industry’s best and brightest prospects. Organized by the Beta Phi chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Society, this once-a-semester career fair provides students with incredible exposure and networking opportunities. Students from CSU Sacramento, Chico, Fresno, and other area schools are invited to attend.

Scavenger Hunt

                 400 Capitol Mall, Sacramento
                 Meet on the first floor
Dress: Professional Attire

Organized by the Beta Phi chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, this event is offered exclusively to CSUS BAP membership. It is a great way to learn about various firms’ office environment and culture in one day by visiting the offices of each accounting firm located in the Wells Fargo Building. Each firm organizes a scavenger hunt-like activity for groups of BAP participants, and the BAP groups rotate among the offices spending about 30 minutes visiting each firm.

Nomination Potluck

Dress: Casual, shoes can be worn indoors

The purpose of the Nomination Potluck is to initiate candidates into the organization and to nominate officers for the following semester. Professionals will not be present. The event is a potluck; everyone is required to bring a dish. Following the social, candidates are initiated into the organization and awarded Beta Alpha Psi membership pins.

Awards Banquet

This event celebrates members’ accomplishments throughout the semester. Scholarships and awards are presented to outstanding members of the Beta Phi chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and we thank our sponsors for their support. In addition, next semester’s Officers will be announced for the first time. Members and professionals are encouraged to socialize before and after the banquet.
