Please join us for our upcoming signature event, the 27th  Annual Africa Peace Awards hosted by the Center for African Peace and Conflict Resolution (CAPCR). This event which honors outstanding individuals and groups that promote Peace and Conflict Resolution throughout the African Diaspora is an wonderful gathering of University Faculty, prominate Alumni and friends of Sacramento's diverse community who support the center's mission. 

This important event will be held in the Union Ballroom at Sacramento State on April 28, 2018. The event will be the culmination of a conference whose theme is the “African Peace & Security Architecture: Lessons, Challenges and Opportunities, “April 26-28, 2018.

This year we will proudly honor Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana, who is also the keynote speaker, among other peace awardees.
