15th Annual Conflict Resolution Workshop
A Training Workshop on Conflict Resolution: Negotiation and Mediation Skills Building
Dates: June 14 - 18, 2010
8:30am - 5:00pm Daily (40 hours)
At this workshop you will develop negotiation and mediation skills that will enable you to manage conflict constructively in any situation. As a certified mediator, you will also be equipped with the skills and confidence to help others resolve their disputes effectively. This interactive workshop combines lecture, videos, role plays and simulation exercises and is facilitated by highly experienced mediators who share with you the theory and methods behind collaborative interest-based bargaining.
Trainers:
- Professor Ernest Uwazie - Director for the Center of African Peace and Conflict Resolution and Professor of Criminal Justice at California State University, Sacramento; also a conflict resolution trainer, practitioner, and scholar.
- Attorney Daniel Yamshon, Esq. - A highly experienced dispute resolution trainer, practitioner and theorist at domestic and international levels.
Certificate: Issued to participants after successful completion of the workshop.
Registration Fee: $550 (Includes course manual and materials, plus 2 lunch meals)
MCLE and CEU's available upon request! The workshop will be highly interactive, with short lectures, roleplays, and exercises. Housing/hotel/parking information provided upon request and registration.
