13th Annual Conflict Resolution Workshop

A Training Workshop on Conflict Resolution: Negotiation and Mediation Skills Building

Dates: June 16 - 20, 2008
8:30am - 5:00pm Daily (40 hours)

Main Topics: Negotiation and Mediation Techniques & Process, Conflict Theories & Practices, Conflict Assessment, Conflict Sourcse and Types, Consensus Building, Ethics is Mediation, Alternative Dispute Resolution System Design, Cross-Cultural Communication Techniques, Building Dispute Resolution Practice.

Trainers:

  • Professor Ernest Uwazie - Director for the Center of African Peace and Conflict Resolution and Professor of Criminal Justice at California State University, Sacramento; also a conflict resolution trainer, practitioner, and scholar.
  • Attorney Daniel Yamshon, Esq. - A highly experienced dispute resolution trainer, practitioner and theorist at domestic and international levels.

Certificate: Issued to participants after successful completion of the workshop.

Registration Fee: $525 (Includes course manual and materials, plus 2 lunch meals)

MCLE and CEU's available upon request! The workshop will be highly interactive, with short lectures, roleplays, and exercises. Housing/hotel/parking information provided upon request and registration.
