ATS Blood and Guts: An Introduction
to Human Anatomy This course introduces students to the gross and
microscopic structure of the human body. The majority of time is devoted to hands on activities and dissections (sheep heart, eye, and brain). Terminology relating to organs and organ systems is discussed. Students who successfully complete all course requirements are eligible to receive 1 unit of high school credit in science. A textbook is not required. All necessary materials are provided in class in the form of handouts and worksheets.
