Goals of ATS

To provide a stimulating academic program for highly able and motivated adolescents.

To allow students to achieve their highest potential in traditional academic courses at levels beyond those typically available within the regular school curriculum.

To give students the opportunity to experience academic enrichment in subject areas not customarily available within the regular school program.

To provide guidance and consultation services to highly able youth and their parents.

To support local schools in their efforts to provide appropriately differentiated programs for highly able and motivated youth.

To conduct research on the unique characteristics of academically precocious youth and on the impact of advanced learning opportunities on the future achievement of young scholars.
