Following are brief descriptions of new and updated articles on SilverLink since our last Ezine to you. If a description interests you, just click the link in the "Click On" column for all the details.

1	Register for Champagne Jazz Brunch	Last call to register for our Champagne and Jazz Brunch on April 26 at the Alumni Center.
2	Updated Brunch Details	Our standing news article about the April 26 brunch has been updated to include a detailed description of the menu and entertainment.
3	Articles on the Obama Election	Commemorating a historical moment, we asked for articles on the Obama election. The response was enthusiastic and thought-provoking. Only parts of some of the articles appear in this month's Silver Bulletin because of the limitations of the 6-page format. But the complete set of articles and photos appear on our Articles page. Colorful, emotional, poignant and opinionated -- this page is a must-read.
4	New Silver Bulletin	The latest issue of the Silver Bulletin is in the mail and will arrive at the homes of all those for whom we have a street address (about 1400 of you). However, the Silver Bulletin is available on our website, often before it arrives at your home. Click on the link to go to our Silver Bulletin Archives page. You can click on the most recent issue, or any past issue, to download it to your computer, read it on your screen, or print an exact copy on your printer.
5	Health Benefits Report	The Articles page also contains an important "Health Benefits Report" by David Humphers who explains some of the surprising events during the last few months.
6	New Tax Withholding Rates for CalPERS Benefits	Many CalPERS retirees and beneficiaries saw slightly bigger benefit payments beginning with their April 1, 2009, payment -- but things are not always what they seem. Read the rest of the story by clicking this link.

8	New Info About Earline Ames	After trying for a long time to get information about the death of Earline Ames in 2007, we finally have some. Read about her professional accomplishments, her unusual activities in retirement, and the exceptional grant she left for the College of Education.
