Does your group host culturally based programs?We host more community service based programs more than anything else. Some of the cultural based programs we have are discussion forums and tutoring programs
Community Service and Philanthropy
What is the community service, philanthropy, or cause that your organization most frequently supports? The Iota Youth Alliance and our INROADS partnership. Our chapter specifically tends to focus more on assisting our local community, throught the various organizations here in Sacramento.
What program(s) or event(s) does your organization at Sacramento State coordinate to support the community service, philanthropy, or cause mentioned above?We typically will host at least one INROADS presentation every semester. We also have an Annucal Dance Competition where the proceeds are donated to a different organization every year.

Does your organization have a bylaw or statement regarding hazing?The organizations of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. (NPHC) are committed to nurturing the ideals of sisterhood and fraternalism in an atmosphere of responsibility and respect. We are also committed to upholding the dignity and self-respect of all persons seeking membership therein. Hazing is antithetical to this commitment and is prohibited by the rules of each NPHC organization. In 1990, the member organizations of the NPHC jointly agreed to disband pledging as a form of admission. At the dawn of a new millennium, we the members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council do hereby reaffirm our unequivocal opposition to hazing and those who seek to perpetuate it.

You should know...
The Men of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity. Inc, are very active men in the community and do more than just step. We continue to support various organizations on campus, greek and non greek, that are doing their part to make a difference in the community as well.
Also with Iota comes IOTA SWEETHEARTS; which is a nationally recognized auxillary to our organization. Iota Sweethearts is our sister organization that helped us developed and grow into the Iota you see today.
