You should know...
Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. was founded in 1996 at the University of California, Berkeley by nine women who saw the need to create a close network of Latinas who want to make a difference in the communities starting with themselves. Sigma Pi Alpha addresses the academic, cultural, communal, and social needs of its sisters. We are a Chicana/Latina based sorority, but do not consist strictly of only Latina sisters. There are over 50 different nationalities within our Sorority. We promote higher education in future generations by granting scholarships to high school students. We are involved within our campus and our communities
