HUSA's 15th Annual Winter Formal Dance

This is one of HUSA's biggest annual fundraising event that is planned by HUSA Members. This event takes place during Sacramento Hmong New Year during the end of November and has been going on for about 15 years. This is also the time where members gain and develop leadership skills by becoming part of the committee and taking leadership roles. Also because this is HUSA's biggest fundraising event, HUSA will be able to fund their upcoming programs and events for Spring and Summer of 2010.

*The Spring Carnival - Spring 2010

The Spring Carnival is one of HUSA's annual event. This is a free event where HUSA gives back to the community and promote higher education. This event always takes place at a local Elementary School during March or April. Multiple variety of games and activities will be planned out and setup for the day, morning until the afternoon. Families from the community come by to have fun. Mini prizes are given to every child who participates in the activities and games. Free treats are given out to the families. One of the biggest activity of the day that many children look forward to is the egghunt.

*HUSA's Culture Show - Spring 2010

The Culture Show happens almost every year. The purpose of this event is to give back to the community, so this is a free event. This event strives to promote cultural awareness of the Hmong Culture. Young children, teens and adults participate in this event to show their talents of cultural dance, modern hip hop dance, skits to show their acting skills that portrays the Hmong culture and much more.

The Graduation Banquet is an annual event that HUSA plans out to recognize the graduating class for their hard work and dedication.

The HUSA Ball is also an annual event. The purpose of this event is to recognize all the members for their hard work and dedication to HUSA throughout the year.
