CSUS Hornets Ice Hockey - Code of Ethics

• All Players will maintain 9 units in good standing, and a 2.0 GPA at CSUS.
• Team players, officers, and coaches will behave in a manner that will protect the dignity of CSUS, team sponsors, and the Pacific Collegiate Hockey Association (PCHA).
• No member of CSUS Ice Hockey shall ever knowingly conspire to or allow others to conspire to activities that are inconsistent with protecting the dignity of CSUS, team sponsors, and the PCHA.
• Any grants received by team officers, intended for uses beneficial to the existence of CSUS Ice Hockey, will be recorded and kept available for audit by CSUS and the PCHA.
• Any team funds used will be recorded and kept available for audit by CSUS and the PCHA.
• All funding provided by CSUS will be used ethically by team officers for uses, beneficial to CSUS Ice Hockey and its student players.
• All funding provided by team sponsors will be used ethically, by team officers for uses beneficial to CSUS Ice Hockey and its student players.
• No team officer or player shall ever knowingly use team funds for activities that may be considered “inappropriate” by CSUS, team sponsors, or PCHA.
• CSUS Ice Hockey will elect team officers, and ratify or eradicate team policies only by a majority vote by team officers, players, and coaches present at team meetings.
• CSUS Ice Hockey will elect and maintain one President, one Vice President, one Treasurer, one Secretary, one Webmaster. These will be filled by CSUS Students only.
• CSUS Ice Hockey will maintain open communication with the PCHA and all of the PCHA Board Members.
• All players will respect the authority and the decisions made in good faith by team officers and coaches.
