With the 07-08 season officially in the books, the Players and Coaches of Hornet Ice Hockey would like to say Thank You for your excellent support all season! 07-08 brought many milestones for the team, including an 8-8 regular season record, an invitation to the ACHA Regional tournament in Oakland, and a first time trip to the PCHA playoffs. The club promises to build on these accomplishments for an even more exciting 08-09 season.
We would like to send special thanks out the Bean Family, the Meikle Family, Imelda Moore and the Kesner clan, and the Siler Family for their tremendous support before, after, and especially during this ice hockey season. We couldn’t have done it without you!
During the summer the team will again host a TNT fireworks stand on the corner of Fulton Blvd and Cottage Way. This is a team fundraiser for next season, so please come by and visit anytime the week preceding the 4th of July.
Of course, we will be seeking talented new recruits all summer long as well, so if you plan on attending Sac State in the fall please contact a team officer as soon as possible for more information. Expect tryouts to be held the 2nd or 3rd week of September. At Sac State we work hard, play hard, and always have a good time!
