2010 Call for editors
Editors Needed for Calaveras Station Fall 2010/Spring 2011

 
Critical Analysis Section Editor

Creative Non-Fiction Section Editor

Fiction Section Editor

Poetry Section Editor

Website Editor

 

Please submit the following materials to be considered for these positions:


1.    Letter stating which position you are applying for and why you want to hold that position

2.    Statement of your aesthetic principles

3.    Writing sample in the genre for which you are applying

4.    Email address that is checked daily

 

Materials must be received by March 1, 2010.  Please submit to Calaveras Station, CSUS, Calaveras Hall, Room 103 – Attention:  Editors

 

Duties will include meetings, reading and selecting works for publication in the 2010 issue of Calaveras Station, promoting the journal, proofing the final copy, and other duties as necessary.  These positions are time intensive during the fall semester when editors will receive submissions by mid to late October and are expected to read, select, and rank submissions and return them to the executive editors by Thanksgiving.  Website editor is responsible for updating information as it is forwarded by the executive editors.

 

You must be an enrolled CSUS student for the entire 2010/2011 school year.
