This is a tribute to M.E.Ch.A.
alumni from CSU, Sacramento. For over thirty years our chapter has
comprised of numerous Chicanos and Chicanas that dedicated their time
and energy for all of us to have access to higher education. It is
because of their efforts that we continue to be a strong and vibrant
organization both on and off campus.

MEChA Memory: I will never forget when Magaly Novelo brought me
un ramo de flores to the reception of my art exhibit "Calavera
Portraits: A Tribute to José Guadalupe Posada." In that exhibit volví
locas a Susana Vargas y a Liliana "Ghetto Jr." Almonte because they took
me all over Sacras looking for frames for my art pieces. MEChA was
really supportive in my first solo exhibit, which was very well attended
and I sold everything! Al ratón...
