"I wanted to make rings that had a repousse and chased design, and my study pieces are the Initials "S and A", for Sierra and Angela, my daughters, and the Rose. The custom repousse tools I have been using helped to create the texture and depth within the small design. The letters in the Initial ring stand out wonderfully with the oxidized surface treatment. The petal and the blossom of the rose also have dimension with its oxidation. The ring shape is modeled after the traditional spoon ring, giving the wrapped style. I plan to continue exploring this type of ring."
