"I found the method of repousse to be my favorite of all processes I have learned. My unicorn gave me an opportunity to focus on depth and surface features of silver within the art of repousse. With my exploration in repousse and use of tools required about 15 hours in actual hammering time on this piece. I feel unicorn is the essence of my spirit, in its uniqueness, and I wanted to create something different than the typical jewelry product. The future plan with this piece is to frame with an exotic hardwood, leaving an open back to view both sides, and that it will be displayed on a surface."
