"Harmony is the melding of soul and belief to create a balanced whole. I used the two mediums of metals and beads and wove them together to create a cohesive form. By keeping the piece monochromatic the focus becomes the integration and transition from the beadwork to the silver. The woven beads are an extension of the silver as they flow up and around to complete the vessel.

Beadwork was my first introduction into the arts and jewelry, and led me to seek out ways of expressing myself through visual media. By incorporating beadwork into my design, I am merging my earlier experiences with my current passion for metalwork in an attempt to elevate the reputation of beadwork and weaving as an art form and to bring a sense of harmony and balance to my life."
